The Gift

Bandit
He seems to always know what I need before I do. He consoles me in my lowest moments. As I gaze into his beautiful eyes, it is like we are one, and he understands what I need, at that very moment. Without a single word spoken, the connection is there, then we go about our day. The gift of being loved so unconditionally by a dog.

What a beautiful way to define what we all take for granted. Dogs really do rule when you stop to consider it!

He is beautiful!! What a prize you have found in him....or he has found in you.

Thank you so much for your wonderful comment. You give me more encouragement then I could possibly tell you!

Love the story about Lacey! She is just something else :-)...who would have guessed she had such a tough start.

Hugs! Lisa

Yes, Bandit is one gorgeous companion! I know how much he means to you, and you to him...and, rightly so! Thanks for the reminder about the love and understanding our furkids exhibit.

Nothing like it, is there? When I feel totally down and friendless all I have to do is call a name, pat the sofa and I've got someone to cuddle with or eat popcorn with or just hand out with...it's like magic!

That could just be the cutest dog I have ever seen....and I have two of my own!

I came to your site because I saw your profile picture on another blog comment. I used to have a cat that looked EXACTLY like that...and I always thought she was so rare.

Long sad story of how she came into my life, but she was my best friend for 20 years.
