Puppy Breath

Hello to all my blog friends. Time has passed by so quickly, I hadn't realized I have been absent for so long. I have many updates to write about, emails to answer, phone calls to return, my apologies. I will get to those this week.

Hubby and I have decided it is time to add another puppy to the family. It has been very difficult after losing Jake. As much as we both love German Shepherds, we know in our hearts, we don't want another German Shepherd, we just want Jake, and that is not going to happen. Our house is full of Aussies, and Jarie... being the sweetest German Shepherd, will always be our very special girl; so we still have a German Shepherd. We have now decided it is time to add a Border Collie into the mix!

Without delaying this any further, let me introduce you to our future pup. Photos were taken by the breeder at 3 weeks old. A litter of five girls. We won't know which one will be coming home to us for a few more weeks, but they are all adorable! She will be coming home in mid May.

I can almost smell the Puppy Breath!!

T! a border collie! SQUEEEEE!!! I am soooooooooo envious! What a sweet litter! Can't wait to hear all about yours. Even though a new puppy is going to make you an even less frequent visitor to blog land.

Thanks for checking in with the Berner. He's really doing well and adjusting his lifestyle here and there! I am just unsure how to proceed without freaking him out again. Looking forward to your input.

You are allowed and encouraged to have a life outside of blogland! No matter how much you are missed!

Hi there, How adorable!!! I didn't realize you lost your Jake-so very sorry. I've had a border mix and loved her but a pure bread-wow how wonderful. I always wanted to do agility with one. I know your new little girl will be such a blessings. Hugs, Noreen

I am so so jealous!!! My first love was a border collie. It is a wonderful breed. I envy you and all the fun you are going to have holding that sweet thing. Oh please don't stay away long this time. I need to see lots of pictures and read the updates. Do you have her named yet? Congratulations.

Thanks everyone for the nice comment, and not forgetting about me.

Rae, I won't stay away that long anymore. I think I have things back under control around here.

You can expect regular updates on the puppy, I will also be posting weekly photos of her before she comes home, so you can all see her grow. I know you love Border Collies, so I knew you would be happy...not jealous;)

Her name is Annie.

I can hardly wait until Annie gets to your house. I'm looking forward to wonderful puppy stories; I just know the others will accept her without question because you and your hubby are such great pet guardians! She is getting the very best home she could ever ask for!! Bear in mind, we love pictures and you can never post too many for us...we'll look at each one and enjoy them!

Awww - congratulations on the new little one.

I love black and white dogs (have three of 'em!).

Puppy breath is one of the best smells ever. I wish it could be bottled!!!

Oh! T I am so happy for you both!

You know...I don't see how anyone can get over a loss. I am finding with each new day you grow stronger. But, somedays a person can be very, very weak.

I am so happy for you and this new pup. WHAT A LUCKLY little guy!

Have I ever told you? We have a white Boader Collie...Her name is Natasha and she is a DOLL! I love her!...((We use to have Boris but sadly we lost him 5 years ago))

So very glad you are posting again! and with good news too:)

Hugs to you!

Oh goodness - they are ADORABLE. Wow, congratulations! I hope the little one brings you great joy. Life is always interesting with a Border Collie around - I don't have first hand experience, but that's what everyone says, anyway!

Enjoy the new addition! I can't wait to hear more about the pup!

Oooohhh and aaaahhhh, they are soooo cute. I know you told me that you'd be getting a little puppy and am ashamed that I didn't visit earlier.

They are all gorgeous. The little blonde one stole my heart. Perhaps because of the unusual colour? Still, they all are precious. It must be a very long wait until you get yours home.
