Pretty Little Annie

My baby is growing up. She turned 10 months old today. These top 3 photos are the most recent photos taken in the past 2 weeks. The others are when she was 8 months old.

She has been a true blessing in our home. Hubby tells me all the time when I talk about her I get teary eyed, he is so right. She is having a blast training for agility and obedience. She is ALWAYS happy. She doesn't seem to take life seriously, it all seems to be a game for her.
Everyone Annie meets is her friend, dogs, cats, humans, she loves everyone, and everyone loves her. All of her experiences have been all positive for her. We are hoping to keep it that way. We have taught her many tricks, and continue teaching her something new whenever she offers a new behavior.

One of the most memorable things that has occurred with Annie has been her ability to get Jessi to play. Jessi is 6 years old and is not a doggy dog. She has never played with the other dogs, she just doesn't care to. Jessi prefers to play with people or her toys, but not other dogs. Annie has tried to get Jessi to play with her since she came home to us, but Jessi would just ignore her like she does the other dogs. Then one day about a month ago, Annie play bowed to Jessi, then Jessi returned the favor, and that was the beginning of a beautiful friendship. Jessi loves Annie just like everyone else does. Annie is our little miracle worker, a true gift.

My apologies for any errors or sloppiness, still typing left handed and having a bit of difficulty today.

She is just incredible. And how special to be able to get Jess to play! You have your own little Pollyanna!

Take it easy; let us hear from you as often as you can. Even if it's "sloppy"!

WONDERFUL! Jess has a friend she can relate too. Take care. Only do just what you can do.

She's beautiful,T. and what a coat for a young girl. I'm so glad she fits in so well and has breached Jess's defenses.

Hope you're feeling good and I didn't notice anything sloppy about this post. All eyes were/are on Annie, no doubt!

She is a real charmer. I am so glad to know she has filled that empty spot you had for awhile. The ache I had after losing Piper is easing with my new puppy too. It's amazing how much love these critters can give without even trying.

Ohh, you're back. Yippee. Typing left-handed? Something wrong with the other one obviously. I'm sorry. Also for not knowing what's wrong, but I've had laptop troubles, so haven't been around much.

Annie is a gorgeous girl. She has such a clever face. Wonderful.

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL Girl she is. AND to read Jessie loves her too is so great :) You know, this just proves you never know where your blessing will come from.

I have to tell you the story of Ruffo. She appeared out of the blue. It was instant love between my father and her...When he was dieing I couldn't believe the loyalty of this stray...Now she is my mothers girl but not when my son Stephen is around. :) WE LOVE RUFFO!!! It's funny too because my father had to fight everyone to keep her. ((well almost everyone...just so you know ~ I knew right from the start she was keeper :) ))She is Pit-bull and not that pretty but her heart is amazing. She has taught the ones that didn't want her in our family so much about animals and people. It puts a lump in my throat to think about it all. One day maybe I'll tell you the whole story.

I'm so happy your Annie gives so much love back. :) She is amazing!

xoxo, Lisa

P.S. Your hand??? I missed something...I hope your feeling better soon!

She's a very handsome dog! Your Annie is a happy dog because her needs are being met and she's met with nothing but kindness and positive attitude.

It sounds as if she's in absolutely the right hands. It drives me nuts when people get collies, walk them once or twice a day for ten minutes ... then complain about how hyper they are. Poor things are probably bored out of their skulls!

If you want a lazy dog, get a greyhound, that's what I always tell people!
