Camera Critters #47

Feral Cats At Play
I TNR'd (trapped, neutered and released) these ferals several years ago, and they live very happily in the shelter I provide for them in my back yard.

Fun, playful photos! I love catching animals playing with each other. Beautiful cats! I wouldn't have guessed they were feral.

Our boys play too ... sometimes it turns cranky and I have to spray them with water.

I played too :)

So big and fluffy. They are finding food somewhere. One poor baby looks like he is missing hair.

Don't you wonder what they're saying to each other? Cute captures.

Lucky kitties!!!

They certainly look like they are having fun. Sometimes I wonder if Simba (our ll year old house cat) misses having someone to play with other than me or my big young galumpous Baron the GSD

;-) I forgot to mention that this one did not even make me cry!

(yesterday we went to a stallion show, the owner of the stud farm showed the oldest stallion himself because it was its 25th birthday yesterday! The owner was so proud, telling everyone what a great stallion it was and that he now enjoyed his pension, he actually burst out in tears. And so did we (of course). Gosh, there we were, me, hubs and friends of ours, all sobbing! Hehehe. We actually know the owner and the stallion is the grandfather of our (not yet born) foal, but still... Sobbing!)

I don't think that I would like to play with these guys! I'm a lover not a fighter:)

Good of you to do the TNR thing. The last thing the world needs is more feral cats!

Lots of Catitude those pics!

We have 6 and one is a stray that lived in our garage pregnant..now she had 4 yesterday. Everyone else in our house is spayed/neutered (3 dogs/5 cats)..and she will be too.
Great blog--glad I found you.

Great series...i always thinks cats are worth their weight in gold for their entertainment value alone.

So cute!

My brother does the same with feral cats, he has half a dozen now.

LOL my cats are way to lazy to play any more. Beautiful cats. Looks like they have a great home. =)

I like the piggy back ride.. silly kitties. I don't think I'll try to play with them. It's not too cold by me.. 40s. but a snow storm is about to hit. Trust me.. I am ready for spring.

They look like they are having a blast! Thanks for visiting my blog, and yes, rescue is very rewarding! Hard sometimes, but worth it. Going to add you to my list of followers, nice to see others willing to help out. :)

they're beautiful

They are so cute. I actually had to look up "feral" because I really wasn't sure what that meant. Wickipedia actually said that feral cats that live past kittenhood only live an average of two years. Yours are lucky.

Ours play, too!

I'd do something like that if I weren't so into "Backyard Birding"... not a good combination. Nice photos... thanks for sharing!

Awwww they look like they are best friends too! That's a wonderful thing you did.

Oh, they look so very happy! They're probably wondering why every stray in your city isn't right there with them, enjoying all you provide for them. The word is getting out, you know; soon, you may have all the strays. Better stock up...haha.
