My Indoor Rescued Feral Cats

I thought I would be finished posting pictures of my four legged crew, but oh so many, I had to take a break. They are all blog worthy, so I promised myself I will get them all on here by the weekend. Jake and Jarie will be up this weekend. Until then, introducing my indoor cats, all rescued ferals.

This is LG. He is very intelligent, crazy, bratty, into absolutely everything, and loves to be in the way. Always wants to be the center of attention. Reminds me a lot of Bandit, my Aussie. He is the clown of the cat room.

This is Mac, LG's litter mate. Mac and LG are always wrestling and playing together. Very rowdy boys. Mac is all love. Love's all cats and all people. He is just a pile of mush, and oh so very very soft and squishy. He really is one of the sweetest cats I have every met.

This is Oscar. I wrote about him in my introduction, and his video's are in my video bar. Oscar is my Angel Boy. There will never be another soul as special as he is. very, very dear to my heart. He has brought much love to my life. He has a wisdom about him, when he looks at you, you can feel the energy from his soul.

This is Ashley. She is the most feral of all my cats. She is so sweet and loves to sit on my shoulder. She meowed for the first time just a couple of months ago, after being in my cat room for 2 years. She continues to blossom everyday.

This is Delilah. She is Ashley's mom. Delilah was one of the first ferals in my colony I was able to tame. She has the most beautiful silky coat. Very social and friendly, and just adores my husband.

This is Mama Cat. She is the alpha of the cat pack. Very strong willed, can be cranky and mean. She was the first of my colony to tame. She was also alpha of the colony outside. A very good mommy cat. When we first tried to trap her and her kittens, we witnessed her carry her kittens in her mouth and run down the street, to keep them from us. She was an excellent mommy to her kittens. We were able to grab two of them and adopt them out very young. The other two died a couple of years ago.
Mama Cat and I have a special bond. Her and I have been through a lot together. She is why I have a cat room. It was for her and her baby. She often has to put LG and Mac in their place. All the cats in the cat room respect her.

T., The cat thet I found has not stopped having diarrhea and now he keeps vomiting with a pink tinge to it. I cant afford high vet bills at this time I can only provide neuter and shots. Do you have any suggestions on how I can remedy this problem without having to take him to the animal shelter. He is playing and happy. Maybe you know of a food for sensitive stomachs.

Okay, It's JustRu5@aol.com I will check for it soon and let you know. Thanks

My daughter was asking about all of your animals so I explained to her all the good you do for the cats and dogs and I told her about your cat room inside and outside. She asked if she could go to your house and see your cat land. This morning she called her dad and told him that she would forfeit her Christmas presents so we could take that money and fix Chester. Isn't that sweet. I can pay $40 and release him to the Greenhill shelter if he gets any worse. Atleast then I know he will get proper medical treatment and be adopted out.

They are all gorgeous, and I can tell how special they are. Is Mama Cat related to any of your outdoor ferals?

Thanks for the nice comments.

Dog-Geek,
Yes, Mama Cat is Prudence's mom. Prudence is the grey and white with the same markings as Mama. Her grey is just lighter.

Mama Cat is also the litter mate to Mikah, the black and white outside feral. The little grey one outside, Buttons mom was also Mikah and Mama's littermate, but she passed away a couple of years ago.

They are all related.

So far in the past hour I have caught Chester eating dog food and on the kitchen counter licking sour cream off a plate. I remember last night he was on the balcony eating moths. Maybe his bad eating habits are giving him a tummy ache. I hope thats all it is.

I love them all! That look on Mama Cat's face speaks volumes about her personality. She is obviously the queen!

I sent you a funny e-mail of cats in awkward funny situations. Did you get it? No vomit this morning so thats good and the cat box looks good too:)

They are beautiful!

I failed to add in my post on my blog about my grandchildren and the ketchup with their sweet and sour chicken...Mallory was taking her rice and dipping it into her ketchup! I thought it was gross, but she loved it. lol

They are all gorgeous! I especially like Mac, I love the squishy ones. BG My Chance is all fat and fluffy like that, but he refuses to be squished for more than a few seconds. Love your cat room too!

Mrs. Ruiz with the sick kitty, dog food can certainly cause all kinds of intestinal issues in cats. Try a little plain or vanilla yogurt or canned pumpkin (pure pumpkin, not the sweetened pie filling kind) and that will help with the diarrhea. Some of my guys will eat it straight, some I have to add it to their canned food. Also ask the vet for a dewormer, that certainly won't hurt.

T., I just wanted to update you on Chester, he has not had any vomiting or the other. Maybe he was used to wet food. I usually dont give that to my cats , my husband does when he comes home from a long trip and thats what the cats expect from him:) It's kinda "their thing" , but I will continue too if it helps his tummy. Thanks again for all your help:)
