RIP Grady

I haven't written much, and I apologize for that. Some of you may have guessed, but I lost Grady. Those of you who don't know his original story, you can read it here Hungry Stray Kitty and here Grady, (Stray Kitty)
I was hoping for a better outcome for the sweet little soul, and was hoping by Xmas I could have placed him in a very special home, one I knew he deserved. RIP Sweet Little One.

I want to thank all my wonderful friends who had offered their support and kindness after hearing about Grady. A very special thank you to my good friend Elsie, who wrote two very nice poems for me and posted them on her blog. If anyone is interested, they can read them here,

RIP sweet Grady. I was certainly rooting for your recovery.

I'm so glad he found you T. If only for a short while.

Oh... I'm so very sorry. I was hoping for the best for poor Grady, but I had a feeling from your last post that all was not well. At least he had someone who truly cared about him at the end - that is no small thing.

Awww, I'm so sorry about Grady. Believe me, I know how it feels to do your best and still question when things don't turn out like you want them to. At least he knew he was loved and maybe he and Patrick can pig out together in kitty heaven. They even looked alike too.

I came over from the Dog Geek's site...I am so sorry to hear about Grady. I've gone back to read your prior posts and have found a new online dog lover! I'll be back to read more. In the meantime, may all your wonderful memories of Grady help you through such a difficult time. Take care.

gsd-world,
Thank you, I know many people were rooting for the little guy.

dog-geek,
Thank you for the kind words. I loved him dearly, just as much as if he had been with me his entire life.

katt,
Thank you. I believe Grady and Patrick are sharing stories of their people here on earth.

betty,
Thank you for stopping by, and your kind words, they do help. I just looked at your blog and just love it. Yes a fellow dog lover, I will be visiting yours often too.

Oh, I was saying that I just read up on Grady and tears are flowing, hearing stories like that makes me hate the humans that do that to animals. keep up the good work you are a wonderful rare individual and the world needs more people like you. I know "hate" is a strong word but it angers me so much that people think cats and dogs are disposable.

mrs.ruiz,
Aw, that is so sweet. I know exactly how you feel. It angers me too, which is why I try so hard to make a difference.

My dogs absolutely love cats I even have a neighbor cat that comes over to visit my dogs just for a play date, it's so cute he will scratch at my door until we let him in and I talked to his mom and she said it was okay. I'm not sure who decides the policy on "The Pledge of Allegience" but I'm going to look into it.

T, I know how hard it is. I'm so sorry, I fell in love with Grady, that's what made me start reading your blog :) He caught my eye. If you ever need to talk to someone you can always email me, rmendell7244@aol.com, I know it's a hard time. He is now in a better place with all of our family and fur kids that have passed. Talk to you soon,

Ry
